Our company works in design and production of custom antennas, real-time item localization and tracking systems via radiofrequency identification technology (RFID), FMCW radar, UWB radar and millimetric waves devices.
Mantid SRL, thanks to the most modern full-wave 3d simulation softwares, is able to provide consult and support in electromagnetic waves propagation, in RFID systems, internet of things (IOT), shielding or frequency selective surfaces, wireless sensors, transponders, microwave devices.
The company is able to guide the customer from the electromagnetic problem identification to the design of the solution and then proceed to the simulation of the proposed system, optimization of the virtualized model and realization of the prototype with high precision CNC milling and 3D printing machines.
The advantage of our company is the design, production and application of metamaterials, materials not available in nature, conveniently engineered to show specific electromagnetic properties to overcome current limits in microwave circuits applications.

MANTID SRL is a spinoff company of the University of Sannio, Benevento, Italy. It was founded in 2017 by three faculties of the Department of Engineering (Profs. Giuseppe Castaldi, Andrea Cusano, and Vincenzo Galdi) and two M.E. graduates (Paolo Mattera and Roberto Parente).
